Muhammad Nor Izzat Nordin was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2012 after completing his pupillage under the supervision of Dato’ Sri Jahaberdeen Mohamed Yunoos of Messrs. Jahaberdeen & Co. He then continued his journey as Associate at the firm and focused on both civil and criminal litigation matters.
Izzat is a skilled trial lawyer and specialised in commercial crime cases particularly cases involving anti-money laundering laws. He frequently appears at both the High Court and Subordinate Courts and also acts as junior counsel in the Appellate Courts. Since the beginning of his legal practice, he has represented multi-national corporations, public limited companies and high net-worth individuals. He also has extensive knowledge in relation to the Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority (LOFSA).
Izzat currently continues to concentrate on his practice areas namely criminal litigation, corporate litigation as well as banking litigation. He also leads the criminal litigation sector of ASIS and administers certain aspects of the firm.
