Nor Ashurah Ahmad Shukri spent the term of her pupillage under the guidance of Hamdi Abdullah of Messrs. Abdullah Chan. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2010 and subsequently joined MNRB Holdings Berhad as their Legal and Secretarial Executive. Her role was to support the Legal Department on all legal matters and issues pertaining to contract, corporate, commercial, administrative, insurance, governance and regulations and at the same time to provide all company secretarial support services that ensure theGroup operates in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Ashurah then joined Sepang International Circuit Sdn. Bhd. as the sole Legal Counsel and in-charge of the Legal Department for almost 6 years. She was responsible for all matters pertaining to the contractual liabilities, business transactions, governance, regulatory, privacy and personal data protection, insurance and claim requirements, risk management, safety and health, corporate development and projects, constructions, communication and multimedia, authorities’ enforcement, SOP and ISO’s compliance. Among her notable assignment was the negotiation of Formula 1 Extension Agreements in London, United Kingdom in 2015.
After almost 10 years as an in-house legal counsel, she came back to the legal practice by joining ASIS and is now focused on corporate and commercial matters.
